I know that most technology enthusiasts in the US couldn’t even consider parting ways with their favorite carrier, be that AT&T, Verizon, Sprint or T-Mobile, but a bunch of smaller regional carriers have been popping out lately and they seem keen on catching up with the big guys in the near future.
One of these small carriers, US Cellular, has just announced the launch of its first LTE-enabled tablet economici, making a very important step forward in attracting a serious audience. Not only that, but their choice for the first ever 4G LTE slate is in my opinion perfect, as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is currently one of the most popular premium Android 10-inchers.
The pricing is another ace up US Cellular’s sleeve, as the LTE-enabled Galaxy Tab 10.1 is set to only go for 399.99 dollars for a limited time. The offer includes a 100 bucks mail-in rebate and is only available in markets currently covered by the 4G LTE network and in those scheduled to be covered by the end of 2012.
If you are unsure whether you live in an area covered by US Cellular’s 4G services, you should check out their official website for clarifications. However, if you reside in places like Texas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Iowa, Maine, Missouri, Washington, Vermont or Oklahoma, you are most likely on the map, with 4G LTE being already covered or ready to be covered by end-2012.
I don’t think that there’s any need to talk about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and what does it bring to the table flytouch, as most of you are very familiar with one of the most successful tablets of 2011. However, if there’s anyone who has been living in a cave or something, our review here should tell you everything there is to know about the 10-incher.
Oh, right, I almost forgot b63m . If you are interested in picking up the LTE Galaxy Tab 10.1 from US Cellular, please visit their official website and very carefully check out the prices and data plans, because they supposedly vary by location. Enjoy!
